A short history
A 1692 census already had Nicolaas Cleef on de Groote Zalze, beside the Blaauwklippen River, and van der Stel gave him title in 1695. Kleine Zalze is a later slice of that ground.
Kobus Basson and his family bought it in 1996, rebuilt the cellar, and replanted. The restaurant and the lodge sit beside the golf course. Phone if a pet is in the car.
