Morgenster

Watercolour of the Helderberg valley.
Illustration of the Helderberg valley. Not a photograph of this estate.

Olive oil as much as wine, on the Somerset West side. Small enough that you should say you are coming.

A short history

Morgenster was once part of Vergelegen. The name means morning star. Giulio Bertrand bought the farm in 1992, and the first vintage under the new cellar was 2000.

Olive oil is as much the visit as the wine. Say you are coming. It is a small stop on the Somerset West side.

Opening times

The tasting room publishes its own hours, and they change. Check before you drive.
