A short history

Lourensford was cut from Willem Adriaan van der Stel's Vergelegen when that estate was broken up in 1709. The farm took its name from the Lourens River and spent a long time as a fruit farm.

Christo Wiese bought it in 1998 and brought wine back. Come for the morning and the market, and leave the afternoon free.
