Nitida
The Durbanville vineyard people name first. Sauvignon from a windy hill, and lunch if you are not driving on to Stellenbosch.
Lunch
A short history
Bernhard Veller bought this small Durbanville farm in 1990 and planted vines in 1992. The first Nitida wine was the 1995 vintage. The name comes from the Latin nitidus, bright.
Sauvignon from a windy hill is the bottle to ask about. Lunch here, with one other Durbanville cellar, is the shape of the day.
