Maastricht is on Tygerberg Valley Road, near Meerendal, a farm that has had vines since 1702. One of the two is enough when the afternoon is short.
The Durbanville side of the Tygerberg was already making more wine than it could drink by the early 18th century. This cellar is a smaller tasting on that old farming ground.
