Durbanville Hills
The big cellar on the ridge, with the view back toward Table Mountain. Useful when the N2 toward Somerset West is already stuck.
Lunch
A short history
Wine has been made on these hills since the early 1700s. The town took the name Durbanville in 1886. The big cellar on the ridge is much newer: in the late 1990s local growers and Distell built it together so the farms could bottle under one roof.
The view back toward Table Mountain is the reason to stop when the road south is already stuck.
