A short history

The Huguenot Jean le Long farmed here from 1685 and called it Bossendaal, wood and vale. Abraham de Villiers took transfer in 1715, and the de Villiers family kept the farm for more than a century and a half.

The manor and the picnic lawns are where the valley starts. The restored farmstead opened to visitors in 1976. Confirm the pet rules before you leave home.
